To Love Like the Father Does

God showed me there is prejudice and that I’ve built a wall
Between myself and other folks I picture somewhat small.

So many times my mind decides how other people think
Based on one sole incident that took me to the brink!

What right do I, one loved by God, have to pre-judge others?
When God in His great love for us, called ALL to be His brothers.

He sent His Son to die for ALL. Calls each of us by name
“He doesn’t love me more than them.” A truth that I must claim.

With this conviction I must change. Repent and seek forgiveness.
And let God show me how to love, all folks the way that He does!
