This shawl was made for you with love
And filled with prayers to God above
That He would keep you and protect you
Never leave you, nor neglect you.
Since all His promises are true
His gentle love will not fail you!
Though life be filled with cares and struggle
Along with seeming endless trouble
To reach beyond and touch God’s glory
Amazing grace, unending story.
Now wrap secure in this soft shawl
Knowing you’re loved by the Father of all.
While we cannot know what lies ahead
We lean on Him whose blood was shed.
For as His comfort surrounds and protects you
Our Savior and Friend will never neglect you!
