Farewell to Judy

Lots of folks they come through Focus
And work here for awhile
Then before you know it
They’re saying with a smile
“It’s time for me to pack my bags
I’m moving on, you see
This chapter in my life is closed
For God is calling me.”

Then there’s other folks, like Judy
Who come here and they stay
They get nestled in their cubbies
And then never go away.

Through backlogs, moves and changing roles
She’s watch others come and go
Knowing in her heart of hearts
That God would let her know
Exactly when the time is right
For her to take her leave
Shake Focus dust from off her feet
And to her family, cleave.

Now we stand here at this crossroads
For God has made it clear
The time is now for Judy
To move on out of here!

So we bid farewell to Judy
Whom we’ve learned to know and love
Whose kindness and compassion
Come direct from God above.
She has shared herself with many
Of our lives has been a part
And I for one can truly say
“She’s left footprints on my heart.”
