Dear Barb,

With just days before Christmas
You must pack and leave town
Not sure what I’ll do, without you around
I’ll miss you for sure, will be lonely each day
Knowing my friend is gone far away.

While I know this ‘condition’ is just temporary
I thought I would send these reminders from Terri!

Yes, you’re such a great friend
One I surely do treasure!
We enjoy such great fun, laughter and pleasure.
Plus times of intensity, tears and discussion
Not always to come to any conclusion.

And then there are times, when things need attention
So we both dig right in with every intention
To work hard, and if needed, go the next mile
To tackle the process and be done with a smile
Knowing that afterwards we can go play
And just be together as cares melt away!

Ah, the things that you’ve taught me, about life and living.
About being and loving, and speaking and giving.
So in a small way I do want to thank you
With this package of Christmas, here’s what you should do…

Start on the 14th, with a package each day
To open, enjoy, and then put on display.
The BIG one (it’s coming), please save it till last
Open it Christmas Day – I know you’ll have a blast.

You’re my sister, my boss, my mentor, and friend
But above all, you’re special, a gift GOD did send!
