“Thanks”

I just want to thank You, Heavenly Father
For all You’ve done and made
The birds, the clouds, the flowers we gather
And the grass – each single blade
Thanks Lord, for the sunshine
Thanks also for the rain
We do need some of every clime
Although we oft complain
I thank You for the lovely trees
For the ducks there in the pond
Thy Handiwork surrounding me
Of all, I am so fond
But most of all, dear Father
I want to thank You for
The Son You sent to save me
From sin forevermore
For in this world You’ve created
Amidst Thy joys all told
Satan with sin related
Each day grows more bold
How wonderful it is to know
That Jesus has control
He everywhere with me does go
As I strive for my goal
Once again I want to say
Thanks for caring for even me
And for promising that o’er sin every day
“More than conquerors are we!”
