I want to be a worker
For the Lord, my Rock and King
I want to trust in Jesus
And praise and honor Him.
May He use me to His glory
As He fills me with His love
I know He has a purpose
A divine plan from above
I want always to be ready
His every call obey
To always love my Jesus
And trust in Him each day!
How hard and often I must pray
Rejoice and plead and sigh
Ask Him to lead me day by day
So not a day goes by
That I without the Lord would live
Without His presence be
Filled up full to running over
This is my heartfelt plea
Lord help me, that I never may
Forget to read Your Holy Word
Forget to thank and praise each day
Forget to love, neglect to pray!
