His Face I’ll See

I was once a sinner, heart full of sin
Jesus knocked on my heart, I let Him in.

He washed my eyes with tears that I might see
How He had paid the price to set me free.

Because He loves me so, He died for me
And shed His precious blood on Calvary;

My soul longed to belong and be a part
By God’s grace I cried, “Lord, take my heart.”

Now He lives within me, from day to day
Jesus walks beside me along the way.

He helps me through life’s troubles, He is my guide
I will strive to always in Him abide.

Till He calls me yonder to heaven’s shore
That’s where I shall enter the GOLDEN DOOR!

He’ll walk on beside me, up STREETS OF GOLD!
Lead me to a MANSION where, I’ll not grow old.

Of all His precious wonders, the best to me
Is there in HEAVEN’S GLORYLAND His face I’ll see!
