Take The Time

Do you find the road is rough, or long, or dark or drear?
Do you need a bit of hope, or a bit of cheer?
Do you often feel compelled to shed a little tear
For parent, brother, sister, friend, or anyone that’s dear?
Do you find it hard to talk to friend or closest peer
About your Savior’s love for them and end-times which are near?

Take the time to talk to God,
He’s not too far away to hear
Ask Him to reveal His will,
Then ask Him to be ever near
To give you courage, strength and grace
To help those of every creed and race.
He’ll dry away your every tear,
And fill your heart with praise and cheer!

Do you find it hard to do the Savior’s will for fear
The crowd might laugh, the stranger’s stare, and your friends might jeer?

Take the time to talk to God
He’s not too far away to hear
Ask Him to reveal His will,
Then ask Him to be ever near.
He’ll help and guide your every step,
He’ll be beside you lest you trip.
And even when the crowd does jeer
He’ll take away your every fear!
